Good design starts with function. How do you and your family or colleagues use the space? Our surrounding influence us more than we realise in many subtle ways even if we are not aware of it. Good design means the space runs smoothly; light switches and furniture will be in place where they will work well, but don't stand out unless they're meant to.
Good design embraces all your senses
Good design embraces all your senses, making you feel alive and having a sense of rightness and place. You may excited, uplifted or soothed by lighting, colours, textures or sound. We are able to draw on and reference interior and exterior styles from history to the present day to make that happen, from recreating an original interior to incorporating an antique piece into a modern scheme to give it fresh life.
